AcuSolve Tutorials
The following examples are meant to be a brief introduction to the types of simulations that can be performed with AcuSolve. The links will download a tar file containing the mesh and input files, along with some brief commentary.
| | Opening Door. This example calculates flow through a simple channel with anopening door. It incorporates moving mesh with interface surfaces changing in time. |
| | Blower. This example solves a blower problem with periodicity and a reference frame. |
| | Periodic Pipe. This example problem solves flow in a simple pipe sector with both translational and rotational periodicity. |
| | Pipe with Radiation. This example problem solves thermal flow in a pipe, with radiation. |
| | Backward Facing Step. This is a 2D backward facing step problem, with a script to compute the reattachment length. |
| | Sloshing Bottle. This is a 3D example of mesh motion constrained to a guide surface (along the sides of a bottle). |
| | Free Convection. This is an example of bouyancy-driven cavity flow. |
| | Tollmien-Schlichting wave propagation. This example solves a Tollmien-Schlichting wave propagation problem on meshes of varying resolution and uses the results to compute the order of accuracy of acuSolve. |
